Our Dogs

Great Pyrenees - Grissom
Grissom is still
just a young dog, pictured at 8 1/2 months. He finished his Canadian
Championship easily, and is already a multiple group placer in Canada. He is a
well rounded boy with both good body and movement and an exceptional
personality. Grissom's outlook on life is fun,fun and more fun.He will be shown
occasionally until he is fully mature.
Great Pyrenees - Nakita
Nakita
like her brother Grissom, Nakita is also a Canadian Champion and has the
fun,fun fun attitude. She has the most beautiful expression, and is one of the
most loving Pyrs we have had the joy of sharing our home with. Nikita quite
simply loves to cuddle.
Great Pyrenees -
Nick
With
limited showing, beginning in July 1996, "Nick" won six Best Puppy in Working
Group awards, a Best Puppy in Show as well as multiple Best of Breed awards. He
completed his Canadian Championship at thirteen months of age with a Group 3rd
placement in a Working Group of 110 dogs. With his kind, regal expression and
elegant movement Nick continued on in 1997 to finish the year as #4 Pyr in
Canada with multiple group placements. Nick turned two in January 1998 and had
another wonderful show year, completing his American championship and being a
multiple Group Winner and Placer in Canada finishing in Canada's top 10 Pyrs
again. In 1999 Nick reached another outstanding plateau in his show career by
winning two Best in Show awards and consistently winning or placing in the
Working Group. He ended 1999 as #2 Pyr in Canada. Quite a feat for a young dog
who is owner handled. The year 2000 proved to be a very busy year in our
home and therefore Nick had a very limited amount of showing but despite this
he still managed a group placement with every Best of Breed award he received
and was #4 Pyr in Canada for that year. In 2001 Nick not only won 2 more Best
in Show awards, Best Canadian Bred dog at the 2001 Great Pyrenees Club of
Canada National Specialty, but also achieved the status of #1 Great Pyrenees in
Canada! Nick's devotion, outstanding personality and great conformation
have made him invaluable to us. He is a joy to be with and has now turned his
attention from the show ring to the ladies where we hope his many attributes
will continue in his offspring.
Great Pyrenees - Lacy
If ever there were a "Miss Congeniality" award
given at dog shows Lacy would be sure to win! Her outgoing personality and love
of both people and animals wins hearts wherever she goes. Lacy is a Canadian
Champion and has also successfully completed the requirement for a Temperament
Test (the predecessor to today's Canine Good Citizen Award), Lacy also won the
Best Brood Bitch award at both the 1999 Great Pyrenees Club of Central Ontario
Regional Specialty and the 1999 Great Pyrenees Club of Canada National
Specialty. She has produced multiple champion offspring.
Great Pyrenees -
Denali
Denali
is our "Obedience" Pyr, she has earned two leg toward her "CD",including a
"High in Class". She is both a Canadian and American Champion. She also proving
to be a wonderful Dam, with multiple Ch.get.
Great Pyrenees -
Sophie
Sophie
is one of the young, promising dogs in our kennel. With her extremely
expressive face, loving and outgoing personality, it is easy to understand how
she completed her Canadian Championship at the ripe old age of 9 months! She is
also pointed toward her American Championship title. She also achieved a Best
Puppy in Working Group on the way to completing her title.
Great Pyrenees -
Petty
What can
we say- "To know him is to love him!" Born December 29, 2001, Petty completed
his Canadian Championship in just three sets of shows. Affectionately known as
"Pork Chop" we see alot of potential in this young, outgoing boy. Already a
Puppy Group winner, Petty is developing nicely and will be shown sparingly
while he matures.
